Melody A3 Open Fit Digital Hearing Aid

All of our Melody Hearing Aid are designed with an advanced Over-The-Ear (OTE) open-fitting design. The open fit design provides a personalized fit and excellent wearing comfort. The sleek, smooth, feather-light design provides advanced technology and reduced occlusion for outstanding performance.

The patent pending design addresses the needs of individuals who have a wide range of hearing loss, especially high frequency loss. Because of the slim lines and available colors, the Melody is extremely discrete and nearly invisible - perfect for those patients who don't want others to notice they are wearing a hearing instrument.

Dynamic Contrast Detection	Enhances speech without distortion. Also increases amplification of soft speech normally not detected.
Look-ahead detection	Checks micro-seconds ahead for loud sounds and dampens them so they don't affect the wearer.
Adaptive feedback cancellation	Constant monitoring automatically eliminates whistling, especially when using the phone. Resists over-amplification from horns, organ music, timer alarms, and bells.
On/Off Switch built into Battery Door	Easy to open and turn off when you sleep at night.
Adjustable "low battery" indicator	Use various levels to be notified of low battery.
Programmable power-on delay.	Allows you to insert your hearing aid and adjust it without whistling or feedback common when placing your hearing aid over the ear.
Uses a zinc-air size 10A battery	Small sized batteries allows for a small hearing aid behind the ear.

Technical Information

With the capability of processing 2.56 Million calculations per second, the advanced DSP (Digital Signal Processing) chip in the Melody Hearing Aids achieves an extremely high level of performance at one of the lowest battery consumption levels in the hearing industry. This combination provides a high quality hearing experience without having to replace batteries every few days.

Adaptive Feedback Cancellation system provides up to 17dB added stable gain (Spectral information is maintained)
The unique dynamic contrast detector "reaches down" to amplify quiet speech.
10 bands of layered noise reduction which responds to noise of all intensities
Look-ahead detection monitors signal path for loud transients and reduces gain in advance of oncoming transients; nearly eliminating signal clipping due to loud transients.
Automatic threshold levels in each of the 4 channels from 40 to 70dB
